I never had the opportunity to read the ZED comics when originally released, so I am grateful for the chance to read it now as one story. The story had evolved over a period of 11 years as the author/illustrator wrote the comic series and self-published when time permitted (all this information can be found at the back of this new graphic novel edition along with original covers and a look at before and after shots of the changed artwork).
I have to say I am glad the author felt the added text in many of the images was not need. The images really do speak for themselves. Even if you have the original comics, you will want to get this book.
