PITTSBURGH, July 13, 2015 – Wizard World, Inc. continues its 2015 schedule with its inaugural trip to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center at Wizard World Comic Con Pittsburgh, September 11-13. Nathan Fillion (“Firefly,” “Castle”), Ian Somerhalder (“The Vampire Diaries”), William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “Boston Legal”), Jewel Staite (“Firefly,” “Stargate: Atlantis”), Colm Meaney (“Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation”), WWE® Superstar Dean Ambrose™ and Diva Paige™, Ernie Hudson ( Ghostbusters, “Oz”), Adam Baldwin (Full Metal Jacket, Serenity ), Dean Cain (God’s Not Dead , “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”) and Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk,” “The King of Queens”) headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza.

Fillion, Somerhalder and Paige will appear on Saturday, Sept. 12, only; Shatner will appear on Friday evening and Saturday, Sept. 11-12; Ambrose will attend on Friday only; Meaney and Staite are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Sept 12-13; the others above will attend all three days.

Other well-known Wizard World Comic Con Pittsburgh guests include the Boondock Saints duo of Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco , Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”), James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Caprica”), Eddie McClintock (“Warehouse 13,” “Bones”), Steve Gonsalves (“Ghost Hunters”), Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”) and the Boondock Saints tandem of Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco

Wizard World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers on the planet. Artist Alley at Comic Con Pittsburgh will feature Neal Adams (“Batman,” “Green Lantern”), Billy Martin (“TMNT New Animated Adventures,” also lead guitarist/keyboardist, Good Charlotte), Clinton Hobart (Disney fine artist), Ron Frenz (“Action Comics,” “Captain America”), Tom DeFalco (former editor-in-chief, MARVEL Comics), Jeff Shultz (“Betty & Veronica,” “Archie”), Thom Pratt (“Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck,” “Shadowbringers”), D.J. Coffman (“Hero by Night”) and many others.

In addition, all full-price Wizard World Comic Con Pittsburgh attendees will receive a limited edition exclusive variant cover “The Walking Dead” comic, drawn by one of Wizard World’s talented artist guests (to be announced shortly). Comics will be issued at registration while supplies last and VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version.

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The 17th of 25 events currently scheduled on the 2015 Wizard World calendar, Pittsburgh show hours are Friday, September 11, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, September 12, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, September 13, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Wizard World Comic Con Pittsburgh is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday night.
