Furry Adventure SlippersI know they are called Furry Adventurer Slippers (as they are not officially licensed and are only inspired by The Lord of the Rings), but I like to call them my Hobbit feets.

I got myself a pair of these for Xmas and a second pair for a friend. Not a huge fan of slippers. I had some grizzly bear feet slippers and GIR slippers in the past and hardly ever wore them (and I missed out on the Godzilla feet slippers — I would have loved them too).

Surprisingly these suckers are comfortable. They have a nice thick foam sole (that feels all springy when you walk). They fit suggly around my toes and keep my feet nice and warm. My feet are always cold, especially when I am working on my PC, but when I am wearing my Furry Adventurer Slippers (aka Hobbit feets) they stay nice and toasty.

I like Entertainment Earth’s description of these, which includes a warning (to me I assume) about calling them Hobbit feet.

Wake up in the morning and start off the day with a surprising adventure. Just plop these Furry Adventure Slippers on your footsies and you’ll be equipped to take on all the adversities that come with going to the refrigerator, a store, or a dragon’s cave! Wherever your destination lies, you can be sure that these wonderful slippers will keep you warm and comfortable. They’re not tricksy; they’re just cool and comfy – oh, so comfy! One size fits most adult feet.

Please note: Furry Adventure Slippers are not to be confused or associated with feet of Hobbits or Halflings, which are copyrights of Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. (“Warner Bros.”) or its subsidiary New Line Productions, Inc (“New Line”). They are definitely not to be confused with the Lord of the Rings motion picture properties as New Line is the owner of the copyright to those films and the owner of certain merchandising rights pertaining to the names, characters, items, events, and all related indicia contained within The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit books. The aforementioned Furry Adventure Slippers are just that. They are slippers. They are furry. They are for grand quests and more modest trips to the refrigerator during cinematically appropriate intermissions.
